Field mouse, vole and
shrew
Ghostly deposits of
field
And garden. Looking
through
Spreading trees which
yield
Views of thistle-flown
meadows
Over which flew heron,
And egret; rook
shadows,
Gull and crows
carrion.
Flitting through the
willows,
Warblers and song
birds,
Chiff-chaff
intermittent
With the cows bellows.
Jackdaws follow the
herds
Whilst robin, wren and
Tits flit and flight
below.
